Delivery Information and Covid-19 impact

Delivery Information –6th January 2021: 

Please be aware that delivery services all over the world are under a lot of pressure due to the increase in volume at this time of year and also because of the Covid-19 pandemic.

European Orders

Due to the pandemic and also Britain leaving the European Union, delays may be expected so where European services have a delivery aim of 5-7 days, we expect these will now take 10-14 days. 

Please also note that  as your order is shipped from the UK and since 1st January 2021, you will have to pay import duty and sales tax on your order and this may need to be paid before your order is delivered to you. 

Rest of The World Orders:

Due to the Pandemic and further restrictions on passenger and air freight services, all orders will take longer than usual. You will receive a contact email when your order is despatched with tracking information if applicable and an expectation of when your order should arrive. 

Should you need an item urgently please email and we can quote you for an express service. 

Sale items are generally sent on a Standard delivery service which will take more time to arrive.

Brexit Changes:

As a result of the UK leaving the EU and the end of the transition period, from January 1st 2021, VAT (UK sales tax) will not be charged on any orders from outside the UK. If you find that there is VAT on your order, please click on the ‘Deduct Sales Tax’ button in the checkout process. If this does not work, we will refund your VAT before your order is shipped. 

Please note that the pricing that you see, may include 20% VAT but it is indicated under the product if the pricing shown includes VAT at 20%.

Covid – 19 Information:

Here at Madpaxworld we are a family run business and we wanted to reassure our valued customers that in these very uncertain times that we are continuing to operate as normal.

The welfare of our customers and our team here is our priority and we are maintaining social distancing, working from home where possible and following Public Health England guidelines to ensure a clean environment and practising strict personal hygiene.

Royal Mail have stated that Public Health England have confirmed that people receiving parcel deliveries are not at risk of contracting Covid-19 and that all their staff are taking extra measures to avoid close contact with the public.

Should you need to return anything for an exchange or a refund and cannot get to a Post Office if you are self-isolating, please be assured that we are happy to extend the returns period for 90 days but just drop us an email so we look out for your order in the future.
