Terms and Conditions
1. This promotion is open to all UK & European residents excluding anyone who is connected with the administration of this prize draw.
2. Access to the internet is required. Entry is online only and entrants must have an active Facebook, Twitter or Instagram account. No purchase necessary.
3. The promotion will consist of 1 prize draws on 14th April 2015 the Faceook, Twitter & Instagram profile @madpaxworld shall publish 1 promotional retweet containing a hashtag #MadPax.
4. To enter a prize draw, entrants must follow the Twitter or Instagram profile @madpaxworld and re-tweet a promotional tweet before 11:59pm on 12th April or Share and Like the Facebook account @madpaxworld before 11:59pm on 12th April.
5. The Promoter will not be liable for entries which are not received or which are incomplete, corrupt or delayed for any reason. Proof of transmission will not be accepted as proof of receipt.
6. Only entries meeting the criteria outlined above which by the closing date will be entered into the associated prize draw. Any retweets made outside of each Promotional Period will not be entered into the associated prize draw.
7. One winner will be drawn at random from all valid entries on 14th April 2015.
8. Entries are limited to one entry, per Facebook, Twitter & Instagram account. Entrants who post multiple retweets may be excluded at the discretion of the Promoter. Entrants are discouraged from creating multiple Twitter accounts for the purposes of entering this promotion. Any entrant found to have done so may be excluded at the discretion of the Promoter.
9. The prize will be a MadPax backpack of your choice depending on current stock.
10. The prize must be accepted as offered. The Prize cannot be transferred, or exchanged. There is no cash alternative.
11. The Winner will be notified on Facebook, Twitter & Instagram by direct message to their Facebook, Twitter or Instagram account (using the Facebook, Twitter or Instagram profile ID used at point of entry) by Tuesday 14th April 2015 and will be required to respond to the direct message in order to accept their prize.
12. The name and county of residence of the winner will be available within six weeks after the closing date by sending a SAE to MadPax World
13. In the event that contact cannot be made with a winner by 21st April 2015 23:59pm , then the original winner will forfeit the prize and a new winner will be selected from the remaining valid entries to that prize draw using the same process under these terms and conditions.
14. The winner should allow 28 days from notification of winning for delivery of their prize. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for the prize being lost, damaged or delayed in the post or for any additional costs incurred for re-postage. The prize will be delivered to a UK or European address only (postage included).
15. Multiple entries or entries that are deemed by the Promoter to be offensive or to constitute spam may be disqualified at the discretion of the Promoter. The posting of infringing, defamatory, obscene or otherwise unlawful or offensive content is prohibited. The Promoter shall not accept liability for the content or accuracy of any content posted by entrants. The Promoter reserves the right to remove content and to disqualify individuals from this promotion at its absolute discretion.
16. The Promoter also reserves the right to disqualify from the promotion any entrant suspected of fraud or cheating including, without limitation, through the manipulation of codes, multiple computer generated entries, or otherwise fraudulently falsifying data or acting fraudulently or dishonestly in the opinion of the Promoter.
17. The Promoter will not be liable for system failures, network errors, errors or unavailability to the Twitter website, the entrant’s Twitter account, hacks on the system or personal computer/mobile device issues.
18. The Promoter reserves the right at its absolute discretion to cancel this promotion while or part without prior notice and without liability in the event of circumstances that make it necessary to do so.
19. The Promoter’s decision is final in every situation (including any not covered by these terms and conditions) and no correspondence will be entered into.
20. This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by or associated with Facebook, Twitter & Instagram and Facebook, Twitter or Instagram shall not be liable for any breach of these terms and conditions. Each entrant is providing information to the Promoter and not to Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.
21. By entering this promotion the entrant agrees that the Promoter may use their name, photo (obtained from the entrant’s Facebook, Twitter or Instagram account) and/or entry tweet for promotional purposes, including but not limited to use on the Promoter’s website, social media pages and/or marketing materials of the Promoter and each of its affiliates. Winners may be required to take part in unpaid publicity accompanying or resulting from this promotion. No compensation shall be awarded for such participation.
22. The Promoter may collect personal information from entrants under the Data Protection Act 1998 and other applicable data privacy laws. Unless the entrant has expressly consented to the use of their personal information for future marketing purposes or if the entrant is selected as the winner, the entrant’s personal information will be used by the Promoter for the purposes of the administration of this promotion only.
23. Entry to this promotion shall constitute the entrant’s acceptance of these terms and conditions and agreement to be bound by them. These terms and conditions take effect immediately upon entry to the promotion. If these terms and conditions are not accepted in full, then the entrant should not enter this promotion.
24. The Promoter reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Revised terms and conditions shall be available on the Promoter’s website.
25. This promotion and the terms and conditions of it are governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales.
